It seems like an eternity since the club's annual competitions in April signalled the end of the club's 2016/17 season. We've since enjoyed the club trip to Blencathra in the Lake District and experienced a decent Summer break where our members have been mostly shooting their own photographic projects but I'm happy to announce that Hoylake Photographic Society is back with a new season of speakers, education, events and competitions on Friday 8th September 2017 with the "Presidents Night".
Under the stewardship of new Club President Anthony Clarke, this friendly club is open to new members whether you're a novice or an advanced photographer. Prospective new members can attend our taster evenings paying only £2 on the door with no pressure to pay a joining fee. If you love photography then club photography may be for you so why not give us a try at your leisure.
We meet every Friday evening from September through to May at Newton Village Hall, Grange Cross Lane, West Kirby with the doors opening at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and a 10pm finish.
Our varied 2017/18 program can be viewed on the Hoylake Photographic Society website or visit our Facebook page for news.
